Shipping Method
Domestic
Orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited Parcel unless another method or service is specifically requested by the customer. The estimated delivery time for Expedited Parcel is within approximately 2 business days locally, 4 to 6 business days regionally and 5 - 10 business days nationally between major Canadian centres.
For domestic orders over $95, shipping is free within Canada. May not apply to special promotions or clearance items.
United States
Orders are shipped to the United States via CanadaPost unless another method is specifically requested by the customer (extra charges may apply). The estimated delivery time is 6 to 12 business days depending on the destination. Restricted Items Some products may be subject to import restrictions depending on US regulations for dietary supplements and natural health products. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of the Customs policies of the receiving country, as well as what items may be prohibited from import. Customs and Duties Where available, applicable duties and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout and shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). If duties or insufficient duties are not collected at checkout, any applicable import charges remain the responsibility of the recipient and may be collected by the shipping carrier or customs authorities before delivery. Import regulations, classifications, and duty rates are determined by the United States customs authorities and may change without notice. Natural Vitamin Direct is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
International
Orders are shipped Internationally via Canada Post unless another method (UPS/DHL) is specifically requested by the customer (additional fees may apply). The estimated delivery time is 7 to 14 business days depending on the destination. All product pricing does not include duties, insurance costs, tariffs, or value-added taxes. If assessed, these charges are the responsibility of the package recipient, who will be billed for them by the local Customs office. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of the Customs policies of the receiving country, as well as what items may be prohibited from import. We do everything possible to ensure smooth Customs processing however we are not responsible if Customs of the receiving country rejects or confiscates a parcel.
Please be advised that parcels shipping via DHL cannot exceed 12 bottles to Taiwan and 8 bottles to Korea due to custom policies. Orders greater than the restricted quantity will be shipped in separate boxes to avoid duty fees and a customer care representatives will give notification regarding the adjusted shipping and handling fees which the customer will be responsible for.
DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON, ORDERS MAY BE DELAYED BEYOND SHIPPING TIMES SPECIFIED ABOVE.
Natural Vitamin Direct Inc. follows all national rules regarding the sale, purchase and shipment of any product or product ingredient that is considered restricted or prohibited by any law within Canada. For international orders, additional import duties or custom clearance fees that are imposed at the destination country are the responsibility of the customer. Products shall be provided with the labels intended for the Canadian market. Compliance with all regulations or laws of the destination local municipality, province, state, or country are solely the responsibility of the customer. Products sold are intended to be for personal use or for personal gift and not for commercial distribution.
Prices & Currency
The product prices displayed on this Site are quoted in Canadian dollars and such prices do not include shipping or sales taxes, if applicable, which will be added to your total invoice price. You are responsible for the payment of any shipping and handling charges and local sales taxes that may apply to your order. International shipment rates vary based on total package weight and final destination.
